Ollie & Ivy began in 2009 just before my daughter was born. I live in Newmarket which is a Horse racing town. I began making silk flower hair fascinators and hats for the local community. Then progressing to sell very successfully on eBay and world wide through my online shop.

After my second child I had to slow the business down and nearly considered giving up. Then , along came Covid and I realised I had all this stock just sitting in my workshop. I decided to open an Etsy shop to clear out what I had left, through creating hair clips and slides. I wanted to make things accessible for everyone... not just people attending occasions.

Things have just gone from strength to strength. I enjoy supplying affordable small items to people who 'Just need a little something!', as well as the more luxurious larger items. It brings me great pleasure to make items that people want to wear.
